Ephesians 3:20-21

“Now to Him Who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen”

For over 50 years, our sanctuary has been a place of worship, prayer, and life-change. Now, God is calling us to take the next step. As our church continues to grow, we are trusting Him to provide a new space where more people can gather, worship, and encounter Christ. Through prayer and discernment, our leadership believes this is the right time to move forward in faith with the 10,000 Bricks Fundraiser.

Why Your Gift Matters

The new sanctuary will seat 470 people, creating room for families, visitors, and future generations to worship together. This project is not about bricks and mortar alone—it is about investing in lives, strengthening our ministry, and creating a welcoming place where the gospel can be shared for decades to come.

Our Goal

To make this vision a reality, we are prayerfully seeking to raise $2.5 million to cover site preparation, construction, finishing, and essential project costs. Every gift—large or small—is a tangible step toward building a space where faith is nurtured, community is strengthened, and Christ is glorified.

We invite you to pray, give, and partner with us as we build not just a sanctuary, but a lasting legacy of faith.

Since 1919, Cincinnati Christian Church has been a place of worship, prayer, fellowship, and mission. Lives have been changed here. Families have been strengthened here. Children have learned about Jesus here. And now, God is calling us to take a bold step forward… to build a sanctuary that will not only serve us today but will stand as a light on a hill for generations to come in Eastern Greene County.

The walls of a sanctuary are not just walls.

The walls of a sanctuary are not just bricks.

The walls of a sanctuary are echoes of worship yet to be sung.

The walls of a sanctuary are the faith of each of us built into a spiritual house for God.

Every dollar given is not just poured into concrete or lumber, but is poured into souls, into eternity, and into the Kingdom of God.

This is not just about building a building; it is about glorifying God.

This is not just about building a building; it is about following God.

This is not just about building a building; it is about imagining what God will do.

We have an opportunity to shout a testimony that says: “God is worthy! God is faithful! God is here!”

But friends, it will not happen without sacrifice. It will not happen without each of us stepping forward in faith. David said, “I will not offer to the Lord that which costs me nothing” (2 Samuel 24:24). That is the spirit we need now. Not equal gifts, but equal sacrifice. Some can give much. Some can give little. But all can give what God has pressed on their heart to give.

We ask you, urge you, and plead with you, to please give not just to a building, but to help people find

and follow Jesus in Eastern Greene County today and tomorrow.

Thank you for praying, discussing, and thinking over giving towards “10,000 Bricks!”

Our church family, in following God’s direction to reach the 6500 unchurched or under-churched in Eastern Greene County (Beech Creek, Center, and Jackson Townships), is outgrowing our current sanctuary as we consistently are over 200+ on a regular basis. Over the past years, the Eldership and other leaders have discussed the weekly trend of increase at worship resulting in the need for more space.

Alternatives were discussed: Two Services, Plant a church, Using the Big Room Full-time, Replace Pews with Chairs in the Current Sanctuary, Rent Another Building, Create a Separate Service for Middle School and High School Students, Stream to Overflow Spaces, and Expand the Current Sanctuary. It was determined that none of these are good long-term changes based on our ethos and calling. Some may be implemented as short-term band-aids.

It was decided in April 2025 to pursue building a new sanctuary with an accompanying renovation for increased classroom space as a permanent solution to our blessing of growth.

The PROPOSED NEW SANCTUARY would replace the current sanctuary which was built in the 1970s. In anticipation of continued growth of Greene County from new homes being built, new factories in the

planning stages, continued migration from neighboring counties, and the increase of personnel at NSA Crane, we would like to poise Cincinnati Christian Church to help any and all find and follow Jesus.

Our church has grown.

Our church is growing.

Our church will grow.

The PROPOSED NEW SANCTUARY would we adjacent to the current sanctuary moving the overall footprint of Cincinnati Christian Church to the southeast on land already owned by the church. The construction would see the current sanctuary become a 3rd Space which would be the entrance, foyer, and meeting place (a multi-use space) combined.

After much prayer, discussion, and meetings with a construction company (SB Construction in Indianapolis) that specializes in church buildings, we have settled on a phased approach to construct the new sanctuary.

PHASE 1: Shell of the Sanctuary with functional/finished Electrical & HVAC

PHASE 2: Drywall and other Interior Construction

PHASE 3: Renovations to Current Building for Increased Classroom Space

As we prayerfully discussed the above phases, PHASE 1 and PHASE 2 are by far the biggest prayerful concern. PHASE 3 would be later and is not as significant an effort and we may be able to do much of it ourselves. We are seeking to raise funds for PHASE 1 and PHASE 2 to meet the hunger in Eastern

Greene County with the Gospel.

The BOTTOM LINE: PHASE 1 + PHASE 2 = $2.5 Million

All funds for The 10,000 Bricks Building Fund will be used for the construction of the new sanctuary. Funds will be managed and saved by the church Financial Secretary and church Treasurer.

The 10,000 Bricks Fundraiser funds will be held in a separate building fund so that these dedicated funds are not used for any other purpose other than the new sanctuary effort. We take our fiduciary duty seriously to use funds according to donor intent.

All donations to Cincinnati Christian Church, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, are tax-deductible for the donor and as such we will honor therestriction of the 10,000 Bricks funds to the new sanctuary effort.

Our fundraising campaign “10,000 Bricks” is definitely about raising money for our PROPOSED NEW SANCTUARY, but we are not doing any of this without prayer and fasting! We prayed and fasted before we made the decision to embark on this journey. We will continue to pray!

Would you join us in prayer?

Giving toward a sanctuary is not about funding walls, but is about fueling worship, discipleship, and mission that will ripple into eternity. The Israelites gave willingly to the Tabernacle until there was more than enough (Exodus 36:5–7). There is joy in knowing that what we give helps create a place where people will find and follow Jesus.

Proverbs 11:24–25

“One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.”

Just as David prepared for Solomon to build the temple (1 Chron. 22:5), so we prepare a place where future generations can worship, hear the gospel, and grow in Christ. Every gift becomes part of a legacy of faith that stretches beyond our lifetime.

Haggai 1:4, 8

God rebuked the people for neglecting His house: “Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, while this house lies in ruins? … Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that I may take pleasure in it and that I may be glorified.”

A sanctuary stands as a visible testimony that God is honored here. It becomes a light in the community, pointing people to Christ.

Malachi 3:10

“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. And thereby put Me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

Matthew 6:19–21

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth... but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Acts 20:35

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

2 Corinthians 9:6–7

“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Supporting a sanctuary is not just a construction project—it is joining God in His mission of building up people as His dwelling place. Bricks and beams hold up a roof, but what really rises is a community where lives are changed.

Hebrews 13:16

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”
