Building Use Guidelines
- Request for use of the church building shall be made through the church office. Reservations are accepted when the agreement for building use is submitted. Confirmed date, for non-member, may be made no more than two months in advance, three months for weddings.
- All use of the church building and property shall be subject to the church calendar. All church functions shall take priority over any building use. The Church Board of Cincinnati Christian Church reserves the right to refuse use of the building for any reason.
- SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN THE BUILDING. This includes the restrooms and applies to all events. Please notify your entire group.
- NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THE SANCTUARY. NO ALCOHOLIC beverages are allowed in the building or on the premises.
- The Individual(s) reserving the building shall be solely responsible for any damage to the church property during the time the building is being used. Flowers, palms, potted greenery and candelabra should be placed so as not to damage furnishings and carpeting. Be careful with the use of scotch tape. Thumbtacks are not allowed to secure any decorations. NOTHING may be attached to any stage furniture.
- For the purpose of these guidelines, a member is defined as one whose name appears on the church roll book as active or is a regular attendee who has not yet joined the church. This will also include immediate family members of such person; e.g. the father and/or mother of the bride or groom meets the above criteria.
- The person using the facility would be responsible for sweeping off any birdseed on the walkways outside. The use of rice is not allowed.
For Members: There are no fees charged for any use of the building.
Donations may be made if desired for special events like showers, receptions,
reunions, etc. The person(s) reserving the building would be expected to see that
the building is cleaned and furniture returned to its proper place after use.
For Non-Members There is a fee of $250 for the use of the facilities
for weddings and receptions. This does not include the honorarium for the
minister's services. The church is not responsible for any personal items
lost or misplaced. The building should be returned to the same condition
as it was when reserved.
Other functions, besides weddings, only the use of the fellowship hall.
The fee is $75
All fees are to be paid in advance.
