Cincinnati Christian Church : Odds & Ends
Cincinnati Christian Church Odds & Ends

Please note this is a new (12/2/2006) feature and it will take awhile to get "odds & ends" posted here. Please be patient with us.

Below you will see a list of odds & ends.

What are odds & ends?

They are not necessarily "church stuff" but may be of interest to church people. Since the audience is limited to a degree (obviously, being on a church website) you won't see anything here that raises your eyebrows (we hope). You may one day find a poem here written by a church member, a short story, a news article. At this point, we're just waiting to see what interesting things we can gather.

Would you like to add something to the site? Contact our church secretary (Sara) for more information on how to submit.

We hope you enjoy this webpage.

You will probably find PDF files in the list below. Clicking on one of them will open the file in a new browser window so, when you're done, just close that window and come back to this one.

If you have trouble opening a PDF file it's probably because you don't have a PDF reader installed. Please see the information at the bottom of the page.

You may also find other file types. As we add new types of files we'll add more information here about how you access them.

The Forgotten Graves This is an article published by the Monroe County Genealogical Society (ownership retained by author) about the Dunn Cemetery on the IU campus - and the two forgotten graves outside its walls.

What's a PDF?

The real question is not what is it, but can you "read"it?

Try the link below. If you have a PDF reader installed (which is likely as there are a lot of PDF files on the Internet) everything will work okay. If you experience a problem (which probably means you don't have a PDF reader installed), then we offer two free choices:

Some people now prefer the Foxit reader because it is smaller (takes up less of your computer's resources) and fast. Going to the site by clicking the Foxit icon allows you to download the free reader. Pay attention to where it is being downloaded, find the file using "My Computer" and double-click it to start the installation process. After you install the reader try the link below again.

Foxit

Or, go to the Adobe site and you can download their latest reader free. (If they change the link we're using please let us know.) After you install (see box to the left; installation is the same) the reader try the link below again.

Adobe

A note about the Adobe site: today (November 2006) it looks like:

Adobe

You probably want to uncheck the two checked boxes to avoid downloading extraneous software - but that's your choice.
